22.05.15 Daisy and Lily
Today, Daisy, Lily and I followed the cycleways and grassy paths. We kept to the sides of the big open park again as it would have most certainly been boggy in parts! No wet paws and squishy shoes for us today!
I was able to sneak up on daisy and Lily today. Usually Daisy spots me first and runs to the gate, with Lily following shortly after. Little Evee was there again, but she stayed at home with mum today!
We headed off through the leaves and off down to the park…climbed over the levee and onto the cycleway. Daisy and Lily are very considerate of me. With my old arthritic knees and Joints I am slow on the down hills and they take their time…such great girls!
We followed the cycleway that runs by the creek. Daisy was being particularly bossy today too! There seemed to be some very interesting smells to be investigated along the way. Daisy was very adamant that we check it all out! I did cave in, especially on the way home, when we got to the same smells again…but Daisy, we have a walk to do!
We kept on going and walked along the pathway that follows the main road. There were leaves across the paths, a slight breeze and although cloudy we were pretty warm as we walked along.
We made it up to the skate park again and we stopped for a shared pat and scratch. Lily likes this part of our walks and is all over me pretty quickly. Daisy is a more reserved girl, but she head butts me and licks my face, circles me and whacks me with her powerful tail… thanks Daisy!
So after we had a little time out, we were off again and heading for home. We managed to avoid the rain, but the clouds were looking pretty gloomy as we arrived home…ready for a rest by the fire. Good walking guys… see you again soon!
