Timmi, Pippa and I dodged some very light drizzle that was coming in from over the mountains. So part of the walk was a sprint when it started to hit… thank goodness it stopped… none of us had our gumboots on!

I was able to sneak up on Timmi and Pippa today… well, sort of! They weren’t waiting for me at the gate when I pulled up today…but by the time I was at the driveway they were there, tails wagging and Pippa was very excited. Pippa is easily pleased…a walk or a play… eitherway is good for her. Timmi likes his walks though.

We did squeeze in some fetch either side of the walk, so Pippa was very happy with that. But it was all business and we walked off out the gate.

Pippa is a little crazy, as you may know by now…I call it enthusiastic! She loves everything! Smells, sights, sounds. There are some constructions going on along parts of our walks and everynow and then there is a bang or a crash or other loud noise…Pippa gets a little startled, but then wants to go and have a look at whatever it was.

Timmi is far less excitable, and probably knowing what it is, just keeps charging along. He’s a funny lil guy. He is always just storming along…sure, he’ll stop here and there…but mostly he keeps moving along despite Pippas efforts to check everything out…personally!

Today we did one of our bigger loops again. Though just as we got to the furthest point from home it started to mizzle with rain. Bugger! …and us without our gumboots! We still charged along and we headed home at quick-time, but the rain stopped not too far from home. So we added a small loop to get our miles up and then headed home.

We didn’t get too wet, we were definitely damp, but we were home shortly after anyway.

Good walking Timmi and Pippa…were just shy of the 25km mark… well done!
