Zoe, Joe and I did another new loop this morning… lots of parks and pathways.

Zoe, Joe and I have been sneaking out via a secret side entrance, so all the noisy neighbours barely know we are there. It’s very nice to get back to our normal exit again. Zoe, as always leads the way, and then we stop for a good look around while I take care of the gate and off we go.

I didn’t really have a plan today except for walking along a busy road to get Zoe and joe used to all the noise and goings on. No real need, they have never been a skitty pair… but you know… just incase.

We walked along one section and then crossed the roads at the crossings… I think they even got the idea of the pedestrian crossing beeps… clever kids.

Then it occurred to me that I should take Zoe and Joe around the park that I did lap after lap of rehab walking for my arthritis. What better way to have another look, than with my prolific walkers, Zoe and Joe.

The park we did a half lap of is very squishy and nice to walk on. According to Zoe and Joe it is pretty interesting too from the smells point of view. Lots of nose work today.

So we did one side of the park and then crossed the road again and walked along the main road via the bridge pathway. Zoe and Joe didn’t seem to mind the traffic and noise and we crossed stopping for a sniff and a look at the river here and there.

We followed the path past some more interesting smells, maybe possums and some other furry creatures digging up things. Then under the bridge and over to the old cast iron bridge and then off towards home.

Todays walks was very nice and one we will do regularly I hope. It’s a very nice route. Zoe and joe seemed to enjoy it too. Good walking this morning guys…see you soon…
