25.05.15 Daisy, Lily and Evee

The Mike Daisy, Lily and Evee show hit the trail again.

It took us a little while to get going today. Evee was a little shy, so we took our time getting her in her harness. Lily was happy to take advantage of me sitting in the sunshine trying to coax Evee into her harness, by jumping all over me and giving me face licks while I was trying to be all nice and quiet for Evee. Thanks Lily! Daisy? Well she was waiting not so patiently at the gate all ready to go… Sorry Daisy!

We eventually kicked our way through the leaves and made it to the park and the cycleway. I wasn’t so sure how boggy the park would be today, but it seemed ok as we circumnavigated the park via the cycleway.

Even though we kept to the cycleway at first, there seemed to be lots of interesting smells to investigate again. Daisy wasn’t as bossy today, Lily was always happy to get going, While Evee was happy to take the lead again whenever she could!

We made it over to the sporting fields again with no problem and then cut right across towards the horse paddock. Sometimes it’s a bit boggy over that way, but today it was fine. I even got a chance to have a sit down and share some pats and scratches.

As usual, Lily was in there first to climb up all over me. Daisy looked like she was going to dive on me but pulled out at the last minute, and I swear she had a big grin…Ha ha…you thought I was going to jump on you… Glad she didn’t she is a big girl. Evee was in there happy and tail wagging and getting some pats when lily wasn’t hogging them.

We continued on towards the horses and when I looked at the time I thought we had better get a wriggle on…well after Lily has a roll or two. Daisy wasn’t impressed and Evee looked like she might join in, but thought better of it…maybe next time Evee!

We jogged home pretty quick and we were only a little late… but we were happy to be home again. Hopefully 3 pooped puppies!
