02.06.15 Daisy and Lily
Daisy and Lily were sharing their yard with a tradie, so we legged it outta there while the work was getting underway!
We headed off again with the wide open park in mind. Somewhere where we could stretch our legs and enjoy the sunshine. It hadn’t rained for a little while so the ground was pretty dry, and only a few drying boggy spots were left.
Lily was very happy with the choice of the open parkland. She loves a roll around in the grass. So she was first to dive in and roll about. We followed the creek downstream all the way to the fence, that’s usually the boggiest spot, but it was nice and dry. Daisy was happy when we got closeish to the horses, she always gets a bit excited when they are around, but she did very well just to look at them as we passed by.
Seeing as it was such a nice day, out there in the sunshine, we stopped again for a sit and some pats. Lily is always first to crash on me, and Daisy always likes the pats and scratches. We did manage to get up and keep walking after a few pics.
We got to the far side of the park and made our way back towards home. Once again, it was nice to shuffle our way back through the last of the autumn leaves and get home to a warm welcome.
Good walking Daisy and Lily…see you next time
