Today, Muriel and I did a big loop that had us conquering the steep hill and down the otherside!

Muriel is a funny girl sometimes. You never can tell just how far you will get along any walk in particular. Sometimes she just charges out the blocks and we barely stop. Other times she stops and smells the roses so much that you think you wont make it even a couple of kilometres…Still not bad for an old-girl!

It was still pretty icy out and very cold, so I thought a hill climb would warm us both up. Though how Muriel was going to warm up when she kept walking in the crackling grass, I don’t know…but she is a tough girl!

It has been really nice to get out and about in some of the heavy frosts and crunchy ice. When we got home today, we went for a drink, and her water bowl had froze over! I craked it for her and she had fun chomping away at the sheets of ice!
