Today Phil and I walked over to one of my favourite watercourses, but to get there we took the long way ‘round!

The day started off with me thinking,’… Sunday…yay! Its walk Phil day…!’ But when I got to Phils place, he reminded me it was actually Saturday! He was still up for a walk even though I interrupted him sitting by the window in the sunshine with his bear!

So we did head out and just as well, it was a beautiful day outside so we took off with a couple of walk options in mind. I had one of two of my favourite watercourses in mind, so either way I was happy. Phil didn’t mind either way.

We followed the main road to the start of the watercourse and trotted our way towards one of the treed groves. It was nice there in the shade, but the warm sunshine away from the trees was much appreciated.

We stopped at one of the smaller tree groves for some pics, but Phil was being shy today, so we kept going. We Zigged and zagged towards home and along the way we visited a couple ofof trees that usually have some finches flitting about. He loves finches too, by the way. Though these lil guys are way too fast for either of us… but he loves to try and catch a glimpse.

I was laughing at Phil as we ran around a couple of trees and Phil was buried butt deep in trees and bushes. A local neighbor heard our shenanigans from a few houses away and when we investigated their garden, we were roused-on…so we legged it from grumpy pants!

We weren’t deterred at all and enjoyed the rest of our walk home, with a few more birds entertaining both Phil and I. Good walking today Phil…I’ll try and get my days right next time…!
