Scarlett gave me a very nice vocal welcome again…! I am so glad she likes our walks so much!

Today, I had a bit of a plan to walk up and down one of my favourite watercourses. Its not too far away from Scarletts place, and she can step it out pretty quick.

For the first little while, Scarlett was very happy to see me. Jumping about and saying hello as best she could with her voice. Such and excitable happy lil girl! We headed down a lane and then followed the cycleway for a while then crossed over to the road to the watercourse.

Its pretty nice in the watercourse, its just a nice wide open place that makes for pleasant walking. Scarlett trotted along happily as we made our way up the Hill. We crossed over into another park and watercourse and then made the decision on which route to take next.

We could either head down the hill that would finish off a nice casual loop walk… or, even though we were more than half-way home, we could head back the way we came? We decided to just head back down the watercourse and follow our same route home again. It would take longer than the straight loop walk, but Scarlett was on a roll!

We got to see one owner and their fur-family members as well as a few joggers/ walkers along the way. Its always nice to see people out and making the most of the parks we have around here…as well as our Doggy friends out and about too.

Scarlett and I made great time and arrived on time even though we had taken the long way home. Scarlett is always great to walk and we have added to her growing 205kms! Wow!
